Early Childhood Music Classes

DCYC is now offering classes for Early Childhood Music! These classes are open to children from birth through 4 years old. These classes are a fantastic way to not only support children's musical aptitude in their early years, but offer wonderful bonding experiences, socialization, and musical exploration!

What Happens in Early Childhood Music Classes?

Our curriculum is a well-researched setting for children to grow as young musicians. Supported by their adult every step of the way, these classes are opportunities for children to learn about music in a play-based setting and build their aptitude (musical potential) for audiation, or musical thinking. There will be songs, chants, listening, games, and instruments in these classes.

Timeline

Our classes run in 10-week cycles. Payments are due at each class. This semester, classes are from September 13-November 15. Classes are offered on Friday afternoons at Sandbrock Ranch Elementary School from 4:15-4:45 and 5:00-5:30 pm.

Payment

Our classes are set at a reasonable rate to support families. Classes are $15 each. If paid up front for the full term, one class will be free. If the caretaker is a Denton ISD employee, the pricing is the same, but at a rate of $10 per class per child. Payment can be made at this link.
